tl;dr: It would be really cool if the was application that replicated a pen and paper and allowed input from graphic tablet.
It's always challenging at first to use graphic tablet for drawing, because you look at the monitor and drawing on tablet. Because of that ppls who good at drawing on paper not very good at transitioning to digital art.
And this is where vr could help, you can simply wear Rift and draw looking down. In vr you see for example planar canvas similar to photoshop/sai/paint and a 3d model of pen which is pointing at cursor.
It's very simple application that doesn't change much, but I have a feeling it can help someone. At least it's worth to make a small test demo to check what effect it provide.
PS: there is also more simple way worth a try, is to allow moving desktop plane in Desktop VR, so it will be possible to position it in the place where is your graphic tablet is in a real world.
