/r/Oculus: Please explain the weird ongoing message board fight between Commercial VR advocates and Oculus?

This is a serious question.

Are they trying to convince us of their point of view? Are they just in it for the harassment? Do the Commercial (VRcade) advocates feel that at-home VR is not credibly done, or do they just hate Oculus in general?

I'd appreciate anything that would help make sense of this.
