My 12 year old son saved his allowance for nearly a year and purchased an Oculus Rift 2 which has a very odd problem. When he puts the glasses on, the display acts very strangely. The desktop image is basically split right down the middle, with the left half of the desktop displaying on the right, and the right side of the desktop displayed on the left. Any idea if this is a hardware issue or software issue and how I go about fixing it?
Sorry if this is a common problem, I did not see it addressed on the reddit FAQ or on the Oculus support page. I opposed the purchase but it was his money, and now of course I'm stuck fixing the problem. Any ideas?
