I was awoken by the garbage truck doing his rounds in my street. Suddenly realising my own bin was not out for collection, I sprung out of bed and with only my undies on and headed out the front door. With seconds to spare I grabbed my bin then wheeled it across the road, in front of the garbage truck with headlights on. He pulled up in front of me and my bin and emptied it with trademark precision. Then with as little as a "thumbs up" from me in my undies and empty bin, the "thumbs up" was returned by the truck driver and he was off again. No dramas.
