Glasses, contacts, and FOV

Up until the last few months I had never worn contacts. I had been using glasses since ~7yrs of age, and when I tried out DK2 I couldn't for the life of me see what was wrong with FOV. It did fill my entire FOV. Then came the contacts, and I found - as anyone who has done a glasses to contacts switch will find - that I had a much, much wider FOV. The difference is huge, but for much of my life my brain had been cutting out everything outside my glasses as "useless".

So for those who use glasses, you may find FOV never is an issue. And for those without, your brain my adapt to cut off the useless info. Thoughts?

P.S. I don't deny more is better, just that after a smaller point than most realise it may not be a priority.
